David Lee - Rider # 571

Friends, Family, Associates:
I have registered to do a bike ride from Miami to Key West
(kind of a bucket list thing for me). It
is called The SMART Ride and covers 165 miles November 17-18. It is a charity ride and 100% of sponsor donations
go to the charity as riders pay for our own registration which covers all event
costs. Donations benefit HIV/AIDS
service organizations throughout Florida.
My goal is to raise $1,250 or more. I have jump started my donations with $125 (separate from my registration fee) so I only have $1,125 to go. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference. I thank you in advance for considering donating.
Please know that there's absolutely no obligation, and any
amount you can contribute is sincerely appreciated.
Thank you.
David

Additional information provided by The SMART Ride as an FYI:
There are so many wonderful charities to choose from. I have chosen The SMART Ride (Southern Most AIDS/HIV Ride) because 100% of every dollar I raise will be shared with AIDS Service Organizations around Florida. Very few organizations can boast that they have this guarantee, in-fact it is unheard of in an event like this.On Friday November 17th, and Saturday November 18th I will join the 20th Anniversary ride with hundreds of other individuals who will ride their bicycles or crew from Miami to Key West 165-miles. Our journey will be one filled with hope, with memories, with pride, and with the dream of a future free of AIDS.
I have set an ambitious goal to help raise $2 Million this year, I personally want to do more than the required $1250 because I believe what we do makes a difference. Did you know that those being infected at the highest rate are ages 13-23, not a typo! Education, prevention, and care can make this disease a memory instead of a present-day reality. Nothing would give me more pleasure than to hang up my bicycle and know that the world is free of HIV and AIDS.
I hope you will consider joining me on this journey and make a generous donation.
Margaret Mead once said, "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world, indeed; it is the only thing that ever has." You are part of the change, thank you.
